CARTA connects you with the Charleston area. Whenever you need to switch from CARTA route to another, you may do so by asking the driver for a transfer. CARTA has many transfer points and transfers are only accepted at valid transfer points. DASH to DASH transferring is not allowed, however, DASH to Fixed Route Buses, Fixed Route Buses to DASH, and Fixed Route Buses to Fixed Route Buses transferring is allowed. Please refer to the individual rout maps to help you find valid transfer points.
